I’m an engineer turned professional multidisciplinary artist. My principal medium is photography and my style leans edgy, moody, provocative & sensual. I feel like I was always working toward this space, even though I wasn’t aware of it. I use everything from my former career and a lifetime of artistic training to tell the stories I want to tell. (Well, I use mostly everything…I have literally never used the years of Calculus I was forced to endure!) For me, photography is the art of seeing, a form of protest (especially against respectability politics and societal norms) and a celebration of curiosity, nonconformity and nuance.

When I’m not actively trying to change the world, I can be found getting lost in nature with my camera, abstract painting, geeking out about music, buried in a book (or usually several because… nerd lol), staying active/doing spicy circus ish, collecting art at a Comicon (because again… nerd), tending to my plants, brewing a bougie cup of tea or coffee, meditating in a hot bath, traveling or doing foodie/dessert lover things.
